AJAX AKA ROOSTER

AJAX AKA ROOSTER

Hello,

I wanted to send you guys some pics of Rooster, Formerly Ajax there. We adopted him back in 2007 and he has been quite the ray of sunshine for us. He has gained 7 lb’s since then and is a happy 14 lb. boy. He has a new brother named Lincoln we adopted from the pound the day before he was to be put down. Rooster has had his rotten baby teeth pulled and has finally gotten over his fear of people and places. He has epilepsy and has seizures now and then, but he sleeps it off and is fine afterwards. I am so thankful to you guys for saving him and bringing him into my life. I can’t imagine a life without him now.

Thanks again, Brad Carter

PEPPER AKA NORMAN

PEPPER AKA NORMAN

Hi there,

Just wanted to give an update about my beloved cat that I adopted from GHS in October of 2007. He’s the best cat ever and I can’t imagine having found a more loving, spunky and entertaining four legged friend. I’m so happy to have found him. The cage-free cat room was awesome-it really let his personality shine, as he came right up to us and wanted to play.

Thanks for all the work you do! Rachel Dierks (and Norman the Cat)

TINKERBELLE AKA DYLANN

TINKERBELLE AKA DYLANN

Hi Star,

Tinkerbelle (now Dylann), who turned 3 last December, became part of our family in May 2006. She is doing wonderfully and a great joy in our lives.

We have taken agility class, obedience training and Dylann became a Canine Good Citizen! She loves going to the dog park, even “talks” to let us know it’s time to go. We couldn’t imagine life without this sweet, loving, mellow girl. Many thanks to you and everyone at Glendale Humane.

JESSIE AKA SIERRA

JESSIE AKA SIERRA

Hello friends at the Glendale Shelter.

We thought you might like an update on Sierra, the wonderful lab we adopted.

It’s been two weeks since we brought Sierra home. She is adjusting well and brings us much joy. She loves her back yard and enjoys spending time fetching balls and lounging in the sun. Actually, she still prefers fetch and run to fetch and drop it.As you can see from the attached photo, she enjoys her grass! She is getting much better during our daily walks (at least 2/day) and doesn’t pull like she did at first. She learns new commands quickly– even though she still has selective puppy hearing. She also enjoys playing with our daughter’s chocolate lab Bailey and is learning some good behaviors.

Thank you for all that you do for homeless animals and the terrific support you provide for adoptive families. We recommend you to everyone tat we talk to about adopting a pet.

Warm regards, Judy and Earl Otto

JIMINY AKA MAX

JIMINY AKA MAX

Hello,

We wanted to send you a film clip of Max and his best friend. He has gotten a bit bigger and happier. Max is now 60lb of happy dog. He loves his walks around park and he loves his friends even more. He has made some friends while walking around the park because of his friendly nature. He still thinks he is a few month old puppy so he want’s to play with everyone he meats big or small. He has gotten over most of his fears but still gets spooked some times. (who don’t)

Wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season and beautiful New Year!

Max and his pets (Evija and Patricia)
